History: David Bouwers, a local photographer, had two main objectives when he founded the Brockville and Area Bridal Association in the summer of 1998. His first goal was to provide a means for local businesses in the wedding industry to network with each other and promote growth in their businesses. In addition to networking with other local businesses, David wanted the Association to be an asset to the community by designing it as a non-profit organization that raises money for local charities. Initially, the Brockville and Area Bridal Association was composed of seven businesses and has tripled its membership since its inception. Each member of the Association has an equal part in the decision making process for each project. Being the only organization of its kind, the Association offers complete wedding services to Brockville and the surrounding area.
